      Setting Alert Type and Time

      Set the type of alerts (vibe, beep, flash) and the amount of time the pager alerts.

      This allows you to change the number of cycles the pager will flash, vibrate & beep. 

      1. Scroll until the display reads ALT, press SEND. The transmitter will display the current alert type + alert time setting. The 1st letter represents the alert type, followed by 2 numbers indicating the alert time. 
      2. Press the UP-arrow key to navigate to a different time.
      3. Press SEND to save and proceed to the next alert type (flash & beep) setting. 
      4. Select the desired alert time
      5. Press SEND to return to the main menu. For example, if you set the transmitter to U_01 , F_02 & B_01, the pager will vibrate for 8 seconds, flash for 15 seconds and beep for 8 seconds.  
      6. SAVE the changes
      7. Press and hold the DOWN arrow key to exit the programming menu.
